In 1994,
White C. White
White Publishers launched the BIJOUX magazine, a periodical aimed at
professionals and companies operating in the segment of jewelry,
accessories and handicrafts, and is considered today a reference both
in the Brazilian market as in other Latin American countries.
BIJOUX Magazine is a vehicle for the dissemination of fashion trends
and novelties launched in national and international markets. Each
issue presents the best designs of necklaces, rings, earrings,
bracelets and accessories from artisans and designers in Brazil, also
is presented an analysis of trends both in specialized international
fairs, including Bijohrca, Eclat de Mode and Macef, as in most large
events, especially São Paulo Fashion Week and Fashion
Rio, epitomizes the fashion from streets in specific sections
and
even teaches advanced techniques for the production of handicrafts.
From a business perspective, Bijoux Magazine has released with great
success, major global brands as Europa Star, Components, Preciosa,
Swarovski, Gemstone and Murano, as well as various importers,
exporters, distributors and suppliers of inputs and equipment, reaching
a readership consisting mainly by retailers and manufacturers of
readymade garments.
The BIJOUX Magazine is published quarterly and its circulation of
15,000 copies are distributed through specialty retailers, spread
throughout the Brazilian territory, and through referral by mail for

Jewelry and accessories in Brasil
As with clothing, jewelry and accessories the Brazilian market
has
its own identity, style and design, built largely with the use of a
wide range of solutions and materials in the composition of parts.
With the inclusion of local events such as São Paulo Fashion
Week and Fashion Rio in the international fashion circuit, the
Brazilian market was opened both for export, revealing important
designers and creators, as for imports. Parts of international brands
started attending the shelves of most brazilians, including jewelry and
accessories.
